How to Unjam a Paper Folding Machine
Paper folding machines can by a huge time saver and can really boost the productivity of an office when they are working well. Unfortunately, paper folding machines are prone to becoming jammed because of the large number of moving parts in the machines If your paper folding machine is jammed, you can fix the problem with the following steps and get the machine back in action.

Turnoff the power to the machine by unplugging the power cord from the outlet. Remove any jewelry from your fingers so that it does not get caught in the machine.

Check the fold plates. Make sure that the fold plates are installed correctly. Open the machine and take the fold plates out and reinstall them. The plates will make a clicking sound once they reach the proper position.

Remove scraps of paper. Search the inside of the machine for small pieces of paper that may be causing jams. Look carefully around the fold plates for scraps.

Insert a piece of paper into the machine. Feed a piece of paper through the paper folding machine and observe where the paper is getting caught up.

Check the rollers. If the rollers become dirty or worn out, they may cause jams. Thoroughly investigate the rollers, paying special attention to dirt and wear. Clean the rollers off gently with a rag, soap and water.

Check the paper feed. Make sure that the paper feed is straight so that the paper is being fed into the machine properly. Straighten the feed if it is crooked.
