How to Find Stocks Using CUSIP Number thumbnail
A CUSIP number identifies stocks in U.S. and Canadian markets.

The Committee on Uniform Securities Identification Procedures system identifies most securities in U.S. and Canadian companies, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission. Owned by the American Bank Association and operated by Standard's & Poor's, a CUSIP identification string is assigned to many stocks. Several methods for finding stocks using the CUSIP number exist.
