Verizon Wireless has corporate stores owned and operated by Verizon Wireless, and they have authorized retailers. The authorized retail stores are able to offer many of the products and features that the corporate stores do, but they are privately run companies. Like any small business, you will need to ensure you have a business plan, a location and necessary financing. Becoming a Verizon Wireless authorized retailer can give your small business a big company backer. You can begin in one of two ways.

Instructions

1. Contact a local Verizon Wireless corporate store and speak with the store manager about your interest in becoming an authorized retailer. Most stores have applications you can fill out to begin the process.

2. On the Internet, go to Verizonwireless.com and click on the "About Us" link. On the bottom left, you will see a section offering information on vendors. If you click "Agents & MNVOs" you can then navigate to the link "Learn More" about the agent program. This will have an additional link for an application. For adding Verizon Wireless to your already existing store, click on the "Affiliates" link in the Vendors section.

3. A Verizon Wireless agent manager will contact you to meet and discuss your application. Be sure to bring all your business documentation and plans with you to the meeting.
