Your Palm stylus is the best way to get information directly into your Palm handheld computer.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Learn to use Graffiti, the handwriting recognition system. Use the game Giraffe or try the Graffiti tutorial by tapping the Graffiti icon.

  2. Step 2

Tap "abc" in the Graffiti writing area to bring up a keyboard instead of writing the letters yourself.

  3. Step 3

Customize the Pen stroke (the action of dragging your stylus from the writing area to the top of your screen). Tap the Prefs icon, and then tap Pen to customize the stroke. Choose Graffiti Help if you are just learning Graffiti or Keyboard if you prefer to enter characters through this method.

  4. Step 4

Digitize your Palm handheld monthly. Tap the Prefs Icon, and then choose Digitizer from the Buttons pull-down menu.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try writing the letter "v" backward. You'll have a greater chance of success this way.
  • Create Shortcuts for words you write often.
  • Use the WriteRIGHT screen cover from Concept Kitchen if your screen seems old. This will apply a new layer to your screen.
  • Try a third-party stylus. There may be one with a weight you prefer to your own.
  • Never use your fingernail or a pen. This can damage your screen.
