Download files from your email to read on your Motorola Droid.

The Motorola Droid Smart Phone can download and read files such as .PDF files from the Internet, or files attached to emails and text messages. Need to review the data sheet you forgot on the way to your sales presentation? Have a colleague send it to your Droid, download it and open the file with a few taps.

Instructions

      Turn the Motorola Droid on by pressing the "Power/Unlock" button located on the top right side of the device.

      Open the browser on the Droid from either the "Home" screen or "Applications" tab by sliding it up and open.

      Press the "Menu" button located on the bottom physical keypad. It is located between the "Back" button and the "Home" button.

      Click the "More" button from the on-screen menu that appears.

    • 5

      Select "Downloads" from the menu that appears on-screen. Access all of your downloads from this central location.

      Tap on the file you want to open and allow Droid to open it.

Tips & Warnings

  • Delete downloads by touching and holding down on any file you want to delete. Select "Clear from list" when the option pops up.
