Place a catch basin or other type of container under the drain plug of the oil reservoir. Pull out the dipstick and remove the drain plug from the bottom side of the oil reservoir with a wrench or pair of vise grips.

Let the oil from the reservoir drain into the catch basin, then replace the drain plug.

Place a small funnel into the reservoir opening for the dipstick and add the oil, checking the level with the dipstick. Stop adding oil when the level reaches the "Full" line on the dipstick.

Remove the funnel and replace the dipstick to complete the project.
