How to Make Disinfectant Spray
If you're tired of spending money on expensive cleaning sprays, try making your own. All you need is a few household products, many of which you may already have in your home. As an extra bonus, this eco-friendly, all-purpose spray will disinfect your home without the use of harsh chemicals. Use it on multiple types of surfaces, such as kitchen counters, sinks or bathroom fixtures, or to wipe down your refrigerator. Does this Spark an idea?

Place 2 tbsp. of white vinegar into a clean spray bottle. Add 1 tsp. of borax.

Fill the bottle to almost-full with hot water. Shake to blend the ingredients and dissolve the borax.

Add ¼ cup of liquid castile soap (which is vegetable-based, rather than animal fat-based).

Add an essential oil to your mixture. This is optional. However, it will add a pleasing scent to your cleaning spray. Real Green recommends trying about 10 drops of an essential oil such as eucalyptus, lemongrass, lavender or rose.
