How to Change an iPhone Background Without Jailbreaking

Your iPhone is a multimedia phone, which includes a variety of features such as an iPod player, games and more to make it an intuitive device. With the iPhone, you can use a wallpaper to make your home screen more exciting. The wallpaper is basically a background image that gives your phone a more customized look. Jailbreaking your phone involves using unauthorized codes not supported by Apple to add features to your iPhone. An iPhone enables you to change your background wallpaper without jailbreaking your phone.

Instructions

1. Turn on your iPhone and tap the "Settings" icon on the home screen to launch the Settings window.

2. Scroll down the settings menu and tap "Wallpaper." Tap "Wallpaper," "Camera Roll" or "Photo Library." The "Wallpaper" folder contains a list of predownloaded images on your iPhone. The "Camera Roll" folder contains the images that you have taken with your iPhone camera. The "Photo Library" folder contains images that you have downloaded from your computer.

3. From the folder that you selected, tap the image you want to use for your background wallpaper and tap "Set." The image is automatically added as your background image. Press the menu button to exit settings.
