Instructions

    • 1

Park the vehicle. Open your hood.

    • 2

Read the conversion kit installation instructions. This will help to avoid any confusion during the installation process.

    • 3

Remove the fuel injectors from the fuel rail. Release the retaining clip on the fuel rail with your finger (stubborn clips can be persuaded with a screwdriver) and pull the injector free.

    • 4

Install the kit. Following the directions that came with your conversion kit, install the injector's male end into the female side of the conversion kit socket and reinsert the male end of the assembly back into the fuel rail. The conversion kit socket will be sandwiched between the fuel rail and the fuel injector. Install the retaining clip and lock the assembly in place.

    • 5

Connect the ground. Remove a bolt from your engine with a wrench. Place the bolt through the eyelet of the ground wire and replace the bolt. Tighten the bolt with the wrench.

    • 6

Secure the control module. Choose a location away from heat sources and moving parts. Attach a piece of double-sided tape to the back side of the control module and peel the protective backing from it. Press the module against the mounting location. Using plastic zip ties, secure the wiring harness from the conversion kit.

    • 7

Orient the module. The module is marked with an A (alcohol, E-85) or G (gas), turn the switch to the kind of fuel you are using. Close the hood.

Tips & Warnings

  • Let the engine cool down prior to working on it. This could prevent you from being burned.

  • Never attempt to work on a running car engine. You could be seriously harmed and damage the engine.
