How Do You Download Games Onto Your TI-84 Calculator?

The TI-84 is a powerful graphical calculator made by Texas Instruments that is used by students and professionals alike. However, the TI-84 calculator is not simply a mathematical device. Using the TI Connect software, you can download and install games onto your calculator to keep you occupied between classes. Games are simply one of many different types of applications you can download and install on to your TI-84 calculator.

Things You'll Need

• TI-84 calculator, equipped with the latest operating system
• Computer with TI Connect software installed
• TI Connectivity cable

Instructions

1. Navigate to the webpage for the game you would like to download (see the Texas Instruments applications download page listed in the Resources section).

2. Click the title of the game to initiate the download. When prompted, choose a location on your hard drive to save the game and click "OK."

3. Connect your calculator to the computer using the TI Connectivity cable.

4. Browse to the location of the game you have just downloaded. Drag and drop the file onto the TI Connect icon. The game will now be installed on your TI-84 calculator.

5. Press the "Apps" button on your calculator to access your games when the transfer is complete.
