How to Split a Verizon TV Cable
Verizon offers fiber optic broadband service to supply television programming and high-speed Internet connections. Although the fiber optic line carries the data signal to a residence or business, once inside the building the fiber optic cable connects to a modem with connection ports for different types of equipment. Coaxial cable is used to connect the modem to a TV. Splitting this cable for use with two television sets requires a coaxial cable splitter, available at electronics stores.
Things You'll Need
- Cable splitter
- Two lengths of coaxial cables with threaded couplers on the ends
