How Do I Get a Sparkle Background on My Website?
Whether you are building a website for your business or organization or a personal website, an important consideration is its appearance, since you want to impress your visitors. One way to do this is to incorporate some simple animation into the web page, such as a sparkly background image.

Photoshop

Select “File” from the menu and click “New.” In the dialog box that appears, make the pixel width and height the same as the size of your web page. Leave the resolution at 72 and click “OK.”

Click on the “Foreground” color at the bottom of the toolbar and make it what you want for the page. Then use the “Paint Bucket” tool to fill the canvas with the color.

Use the “Lens Flare” option under “Filters” multiple times to fill the canvas with sparkles. Then click on the “New Layer” icon.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 to make as many layers as you want frames in the animation. Then click on “Windows” and select “Animation.”

Click on the drop-down menu in the time line and choose “Make frames from Layers.”

Select “File” and click “Save for Web or Devices.” Name the file and save it as a GIF. Now add the animation as your background in your web page editor and publish your page.

Open GIMP. Select “File” and click “New.” In the dialog box, use the same size as your page.

Fill the layer with color using the “Paint Bucket” tool.

Use the “Brush” tool to paint in white star shapes. Then create a new layer.

Select “File” and click “Save.” In the following dialog boxes choose “Make Animation,” set the frame “Duration” and choose “Replace.” Then click “Export.” You can now add your animated GIF to your page.

Open Paint. Select “Image” and click “Attributes.” Mark the desired size for your page.

Use the “Selection” tool and the “Paint Bucket” tool to create star-shaped selections that you fill with white. Save this as “Frame 1.”
