Search history can be easily deleted.

Web searches, chat room conversations, saved passwords, log-in information and recently visited website history are all stored in the temporary Internet folder of your web browser. Deleting the information from the folder will stop the searches from appearing and clear all web-based (not Beta) chat room conversations.

Instructions

  1. Internet Explorer

    • 1

Open Internet Explorer, and click on the "Tools" tab.

    • 2

Click on "Internet Options" in the menu that appears.

    • 3

Click the "Delete..." button, which is in the "General" tab in the "Internet Options" window.

    Mozilla Firefox

    • 4

Open the Mozilla Firefox Web browser.

    • 5

Press the "Ctrl + Shift + Delete" keys simultaneously to automatically delete the information. Alternately, select "Clear Recent History" from the "Tools" menu.

    • 6

Check the boxes next to each type of information, then click "Clear Now."
