This versatile spice is also used as food coloring. If you want to reap the benefits of turmeric and don't have a lot of time, you can use the microwave and have a hot cup of tea in minimal time.

    Things You'll Need

    • Microwave safe cup
    • Turmeric tea bag

        Fill the microwave-safe cup with water.

        Place a turmeric tea bag in the water.

        Place the cup in the microwave.

        Heat the cup on high for 1 minute.

        Take the cup out of the microwave and let it cool to a drinkable temperature.

        Remove the tea bag with a spoon and discard it.

    • Turmeric tea is also available in powder and loose leaf form. Follow the manufacturers' instructions. Add honey and lemon to flavor your tea to your liking.
