How Do I Add a Dell Printer Without a Disc?
Adding a Dell printer without the installation disk is an easy process. Installation disks are not necessary to add a printer if you can download the driver from the Dell service website, which contains drivers for all of Dell's products.

Locate the make and model number on the Dell printer. This information may be found on the documentation that came with the printer in the Instruction Manual, the box, the receipt and on the printer itself. For example, Personal Laser 110 is a make and model for a Dell printer.

Navigate to the Dell Support website (see "References") to download the correct driver for your Dell printer.

Find your Dell printer make and model by using the navigation on the Dell service website. If selecting "Search by Model," choose "Printers" from the "Product Family" category, then select the make and model of the printer.

Download the driver to your hard drive and open the executive file (.exe). The driver will be installed to your computer.

Connect the printer to the computer. The printer should be recognized immediately.
