When you have a long email, you might not remember exactly where information is found within the email. Sometimes, you'll want to use other methods of finding information from your various web sources. When you are trying to find specific information, one of the things that you can do is to use your "find" feature in your web browser. This allows you to find things that you wouldn't be able to see just scanning a document. You can use this to extract contact information from an email.

      Hit "Ctrl+F".

      Type the information you are looking to find into the small box that has popped up. To extract contact information, look for instances in the email that include things like the person's name, the name of the people you want to contact or phrases like "contact" "mail" or "email". You can even search for "information."

      Try other searches in the Find box to locate contact information to extract manually. These might include "Address" "Phone number" or "Correspondence."
