How to Connect Xbox & Leapster to Your TV
The Leapster L-MAX is a video game system for children that combines gaming with learning. The Leapster L-MAX connects to a television via standard composite audio video cables. The Xbox 360 is a high-definition gaming console developed by Microsoft that can connect via composite or high-definition cables. Both devices can be connected to the same television as long as you have the correct setup and cables.

1
Check your television inputs. If you have a high-definition television, then you should have no problem connecting your Xbox and Leapster to it because HD TVs usually have multiple composite or HD inputs. If you are using a standard television, then check to see how many audio video inputs are included. If there is only one, then the TV can't connect both devices at one time.

2
Decide how you will connect your Xbox 360 to your TV. For a standard television, use composite cables, which come standard with the base Xbox 360 model. The Xbox 360 can also connect via HDMI or component cables, which are sold separately.

3
Connect your Leapster to the composite audio video input on your television. The plug-ins are color-coded red, yellow and white, so connect the Leapster's AV cables to the corresponding colors.
-
4
Connect your Xbox 360 to one of the following: another composite audio video input, an HDMI input or a component input.
