Need a career change, and don't know how you would ever afford it? Did you know that there a many places that offer free job training? If your ambitious, and ready to go out and get a new job, then this will get you started in the right direction.

Contact you local community college. I have found that community college will offer free job training to certain individuals. You have to fit a certain criteria, but it's worth looking into. In one community I lived in, the offered free carpentry training, and free electrician training. Check and see if any programs interest you.

Check your local employment agencies. These places can be a great place to find free job training. Go down to the local office, and inquire about any free job training they may have. If you are in the 16-24 age group, you could try Job Corp, but there are other programs offered if you are not comfortable with that.

Browse the internet job sites. Places like Monster.com or jobs.com will advertise jobs, and some of those jobs offer free training. There are a myriad of job sites, just stick to the major job sites.

Do some research. If your interested in a certain kind of job, research it and see what you can find online. When you're doing your research, you may find other ways to get free training for it. You might be able to do an internship and learn the ropes of the job that you want to do.
