How Do I Know What Version of Sacred 2 I Have?

Sacred 2 is a prequel to the original game of the same name, and is also set within a world of fantasy. Sacred 2 was released on PC in late 2008, 4 years in the making, after the release of the original Sacred game in 2004. According to Deep Silver, who are the new owners of the Sacred franchise, Sacred 3 is to be released in 2010. In total, there are 5 full-version releases, and it is quick and simple to find out which version of Sacred 2 you have.

Instructions

1. Insert the Sacred 2 PC disc into your CD-ROM drive.

2. Install the game, if you have not already done so. It may take up to 10 minutes, depending on the speed of your PC.

3. Double click on the Sacred 2 game icon to open it. This should be located on your desktop or in your programs menu.

4. Look in the bottom right corner of the Sacred 2 game menu screen. You will see several small white numbers; this is the version of Sacred 2 that you currently have installed.

5. Go to the program files folder where you have installed Sacred 2. Right-click the sacred.exe icon, select properties, and click the details/version section. This will also display the version of Sacred 2 you are running.

Tips & Warnings

• If you wish to install a patch on your Sacred 2 game, ensure you find out which region the disk is before doing so. You can do this by repeating step 5.
