Uniden is a Japanese company that manufactures cordless phones, citizen band radios, scanners (under the Bearcat name) and marine radios. Uniden's advertising slogan is "A World Without Wires." This certainly sums up the Uniden PowerMax 5.8Gghz cordless phone. The 5.8Ghz technology ensures you will endure very little interference while using your cordless phone. Although many settings on your Uniden phone will not need to be changed from the factory settings, the date and time will need to be manually set once your phone is installed and fully charged.

Note: To register a new handset, place the handset into the charging base. Leave the handset in the base until the message "Registration Complete" appears in the LCD display.
