How to Put an Avatar Below a Picture on MySpace
An avatar is a computer graphic that's a representation of yourself. Avatars are often used in forums as personal icons in place of a your photo. Placing an avatar below your picture on MySpace requires you to simply copy the direct link of your avatar and paste it into the image source HTML code on your Myspace page.

Find an image on the Internet that you would like to be your avatar. Click on the picture to open it on the Web. Right-click on it and choose "Copy Image Address." Your computer will automatically copy the direct Web address of that image.

Log in to your MySpace account. Once logged in, click the "Edit" link next to the word "Photos." It will be underneath your default profile picture on the upper-left hand side of the page.

Click on the photo album that contains the photo you want to work with. It is located in the middle of the page. On the next page, inside the photo album, there will be a series of editing links underneath the album title, near the top of the page. Click the "Edit Captions" link on the far right.

Scroll down the thumbnails of photos to find the photo you want your avatar to go below. If you desire, add a text caption in the box to the right of the photo.

Insert the following HTML image source code into the caption box directly to the right of your photo: <img src="yourimage">. Highlight the text in between quotations and paste your avatar picture's direct link into the code (Ctrl + V on a PC, or Command + V on a Mac).

When you are finished, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the "Done Editing" link below the page numbers. You and your friends will now be able to see your avatar below your picture.

You can paste any size photo into the caption box and MySpace will automatically resize it.
