How to Restore Nero Backup
When you purchase the Nero Burning ROM CD and DVD burning software suite, it comes with a program called "Nero Backup." This is a program designed to allow you to create backup discs for the personal files and folders on your computer in the event that you ever need to do a full system restore. If your installation of Nero Backup has become corrupted (or was never installed properly in the first place), you can restore it by just running the installation utility again.

Place your Nero Burning ROM installation CD in your computer's CD-ROM drive. Wait a few seconds and the Nero installer will automatically appear on screen.

Click "Next."

Select "Custom Install."

Make sure that "Nero Backup" is checked and marked for installation. This will tell the installer that you want to place all of the files necessary to run Nero Backup on your computer. If the files are already there, they will be replaced with fresh working copies from the CD-ROM.

Click "Finish." The installer will run, replacing any files that have become damaged or lost with new copies. When the installer is complete you will have just successfully restored your copy of Nero Backup.
