How to Chat with Friends on the Same Website

Chatting on the same website with friends about projects can be a valuable work and school tool.

There are dozens of ways to chat online; however, not everyone is on the same website. This can make things difficult if, for example, you are trying to have a conversation with several co-workers about a project deadline or you want to chat with several people in a group from your astronomy class about a group assignment. Fortunately, there are several options for chatting with friends on the same website available.

Instructions

Wireclub Online Chat Room

1. Open your web browser and go to Wireclub.com.

2. Register for an account with Wireclub.com. You can do this by clicking "Join Now."

3. Complete your profile.

4. Go to the bottom of your profile page and then click on "Go Chat."

5. Click on the green "Create a Room" button at the top right-hand side. Fill in the name of your new chat room and a description as indicated. You can also choose to make the room friends only, as well as, blocking dirty mouths and creeps.

6. Email the friends you want to chat with and invite them to join Wireclub as well. Give them the link for your chat room and when you'll be there so you can all arrive to chat at the same time.

Java Chat Room for Your Website

1. Open your web browser and go to FreeChatCode.com.

2. Click on "Sign Up." This will open a form where you can customize your chat room. Fill out the form and then click on the blue "Generate Code" button. This will give you some HTML code that you add to your website on the page you would like for your chat room to be. You can even create a page that is solely for your chat room. You can add the HTML code to your website by going to your web host and logging into your account. Then click on "File Manager" and then the page you want to put the code for your chat room. Copy and paste the code where you want the chat room to appear on your web page.

3. Contact your friends, give them the link to your chat room and invite them to come and chat.

Everywhere Chat

1. Open your web browser and go to EverywhereChat.com.

2. Click on "Add Chat" in the "Get One" box to add a chat room to your website.

3. Select "Chat Type." Then fill in the chat name, and your email address where indicated. Select the font size you want and then the theme you want. Finally, click on "Create Chat." This will give you the HTML code to add a flash chat room to your website. You can do this by going to your web host and logging in, then clicking on "File Manager." Find the page you want you want to add your chat room and click on it, then copy and paste the HTML code where you want the chat room to appear on the page.

4. Send the link for page with your chat room to your friends and invite them to chat.

5. Go back to the main page and click on "Chat Now" if you want to just start chatting with anyone. This will take you to a chat room where you can chat with anyone.

Tips & Warnings

• When you're filling out the form on FreeChatCode.com select "Yes" to share your chat room that way it will always look like others are chatting in your chat room.

• You must have a java enabled browser to use FreeChatCode.com.
