How to Find an IP Address With a Mac Address in Cisco
The IP address, known as the Internet Protocol address of your Cisco network device, is like its identification code; network devices use IP addresses to identify and communicate with each other. The MAC (Media Access Control) addresses function similarly to IP addresses, except that they are not used for identification purposes in networks. Nevertheless, finding either one can be done through one simple step.
