How to Get to the Secret Level in Champions Return to Arms

"Champions: Return to Arms" is a fantasy action game for the Sony Playstation 2. The game tasks you with exploring a number of enemy-packed worlds for secrets, treasures and glory. In addition to the game's "Good" and "Evil" quests, which will take you to a variety of different zones, there is a secret level known as the Gothic Castle. As the name suggests, this dark, formidable zone is packed with dark mystery. But you'll have to get to the secret area first, which requires some skilled play.

Instructions

1. Complete Proon's Lair, the seventh level of the "Pit of Ill Omen" area. Board the boat and select the destination of Gnome's Island.

2. Save the Gnomes of Gnome's Island from the sea monsters. All eight gnomes must be saved to reach Gothic Castle, so save the game right before starting the challenge so you can reload if you fail. You may need several tries to succesfully time the sea monsters' attack patterns. You should also have plenty of health supplies in hand before you challenge them.

3. Speak to Babik after saving the Gnomes. He will offer you a boat ride to the secret area Gothic Castle, which is yours to explore--and try to survive.
