How Can I Glue Silk Flowers to Fabric?

Adding silk flowers to your fabric can really dress up a project.

Gluing silk flowers onto fabric can really dress up whatever project or outfit you are working on. You can purchase silk flowers in any color or style from craft stores, and use them to decorate fabric projects such as covered photo albums, purses, wall hangings or hair accessories. Using craft glue or a hot glue gun you can glue flowers easily and quickly.

Things You'll Need

• Craft glue or hot glue gun
• Scissors

Instructions

1. Select the flowers you want to use on your fabric project.

2. Trim the stem to the desired length. Trim right up close to the flower if you do not want any of the stem to show.

3. Put a few dots of glue on the bottom of the flower.

4. Press the flower to the fabric, holding for a few moments until it is stuck.

5. Allow the glue to dry fully before using the finished project.
