Instructions

    • 1

Determine how you'd like the water filtration system to connect. Choose to connect to a primary sink faucet where the filter goes inline between the water supply and the existing faucet or a secondary filtered water faucet, which involves more work.

    • 2

Shut off the cold water supply. Cut out a 3-inch section of the cold water pipe under the sink between the water supply valve and the faucet. Use the pipe cutter and hold a rag because your may need to wipe up some remaining water.

    • 3

Connect the tube included in the installation kit between the cold water line and the inlet of the filter. The inlet is just above the filter's sump. Connect the filter to the existing copper line using the tube or drill a hole in the sink surround, insert the filtered water faucet and connect the filtered water faucet directly to the filter. Any connections there will be made using the wrench and washer, followed by the adapter, nut, and tubing. Follow the instructions that came with the installation kit for specific tube to copper connections.

    • 4

Mount the bracket to the cabinet wall under the sink. Initially, use the bracket to mark the location of the mounting screws. Make sure the screws will not protrude and drill pilot holes. Leave 1-1/2 to 2 inches of free area under the sump to allow for sump removal. Allow enough space for the tubes. Mount the bracket with the screwdriver.

    • 5

Fully open the regular water faucet and turn to cold or fully open the filtered water faucet, depending on your connection.

    • 6

Slowly open the cold water supply valve and check for leaks. Close the faucet when the water flow is smooth.
