Remove the watch bands from your existing watch. Make sure the attached looping holes are clear of materials or residue. Measure the width and opening height of the looping hole on the watch. This measurement will determine the size of the wire, jump ring or open link needed to attach the bracelet to the watch.

Open the last two links on the opposite ends of your charm bracelet. If your bracelet has special closures, remove the second to last link near your closures with your pliers. You can also opt to use any of your jewelry making tools. It is best to leave one remaining link on each side in the event you want to return your bracelet to its original style or perhaps use the closures in another project.

Match your wire, jump ring or link to the tone of your charm bracelet's links. You can also use a decorative wire, such as patterned or twisted wire. Keep in mind the height of your looping size. This will effect your wire's surface and gauge.

Insert your jump ring or link into each end of your watch's looping hole. You can also choose to insert and shape your wire into an oval loop on each end prior to closing. Insert your bracelet's links onto the jump ring or link. It is important to have the watch and bracelet inserted onto the open rings prior to closing. Use your pliers to shape and tightly close. You can also opt to add an additional charm to the new links.
