How to Get Flagger Training
A traffic control card makes a person eligible for flagging jobs that occur on and around the road during a construction job. Because road work transportation and infrastructure modifications are so profuse and fundamental to an area's function, these traffic control jobs tend to crop up everywhere. Here's how you can get flagger training.

Get your traffic controller card. The card will be issued by the state you live in. Typically, you must be over 18 years of age in order to be able to gain employment as a road or construction flagger.

Apply for road working crews, traffic director jobs, and jobs on construction sites. Make sure that you have your driver's license as most construction employers will not hire you if you do not also have reliable transportation.

Renew your flagger certification every 3 years so that you can keep working jobs in road work and construction.
