Find out which version of Microsoft Office Student Edition you have by accessing "Add/Remove Programs" or "Programs and Features", depending on which Windows operating system your computer has.

      Click the "Start" button and enter "appwiz.cpl" in the search box. Press the Enter key and open the program that appears. The "Programs and Features" box will open.

    Windows XP
