How to Create a Video of Pictures for Free on YouTube
Back in the B.C. era (before computers), slide shows were family living room events. Today with the rise of the Internet and YouTube, personal slide shows have become a global event. And why not? It's fun to share your latest photos with friends and family all around the world, especially when you put the photos in video format, accompanied by your favorite audio soundtrack. Thankfully the technology to turn digital photos into a YouTube slide show is not that difficult and, even better, it's free.
Things You'll Need
- Digital photos
- Digital audio (optional)
- Windows Movie Maker (or similar software)
- YouTube or Google account

Choose your desired digital photos and copy them to a folder on your computer. Select music or other audio, and copy to the same folder. Create a Windows Movie Maker slide show of the photos and audio. Save your slide show, taking careful note of its location.

Create a YouTube account or use your Google account to sign into YouTube. Click "My Videos" (accessed in the upper toolbar under your user name). Click "New -- Video Upload."

Click "Upload Video" and select the slide show file to upload. Add your description, add tags (keywords for finding your video in searches), choose a category and select the privacy settings. Save the changes and you are done.
