How to Find a Carpool Ride Share
Sharing a carpool ride with one or more people is not only economical, it helps the environment by cutting down on gas emissions. Carpooling will save you gas and wear and tear on your vehicle. It is also an excellent way to save money by not having to pay for parking. Joining an existing carpool or setting up your own is not hard to do. You will reap the rewards by being able to grab a catnap on the way to work or home, or you may utilize the time to get extra work done on your laptop or networking via a cellphone.

Talk to your co-workers about what area of town they live in. If they do not live in your area or will pass through it on the way to work, they may know someone who does.

Speak with people in your office building who arrive and leave work at the same time you do. Even if you do not have anyone in your office who lives in your area, you can probably strike up a conversation with someone you regularly see on the escalator or in the elevator to see if they live in your area.

Search online. There are many websites that will connect you with contact information on people who are looking for a ride share. According to the Carpool Global website, these types of sites will only match you with others who have the same commute patterns and will not give out your home addresses.
