How Do I Get My Pictures Back on My MicroSD Card From My Computer?
Transferring photos from a micro SD disk on your phone might be an intuitive process, but transferring photos from a computer back onto a micro SD disk (which is usually used for cell phones) is another issue. You can sometimes use a USB data cable to make the transfer, but this process only works with Windows XP and Windows Vista compatible phones. Otherwise, when you plug it into the computer, it won't read the micro SD disk as an external drive. Thus, you will need to employ another utility to help you transfer photos.

1
Plug the micro SD disk into the card reader. If the micro SD happens to be inside a cell phone, remove it from the phone before trying to insert it in the card reader.
-
2
Insert the card reader into the USB port of the computer. The computer will recognized the disk as an external drive and likely pop up a new dialog box to open the contents of the SD disk. If it does not pop up automatically, open Windows Explorer and look for the removable disk drive in the left pane.

-
3
Drag and drop photos from your computer into a folder on the micro SD disk. Wait for the photos to copy over completely before removing the disk.
-
4
Remove the card reader from the computer. If there is a Safely Remove Hardware utility in the bottom right corner of the task bar, use this to remove the drive safely.
-
5
Place the micro SD disk back into the phone if necessary. If the disk will not be used in a phone, keep it in a safe location where you won't lose it or break it.
