How to Extract in Utorrent
UTorrent itself does not actually extract files. UTorrent downloads torrent files, which are special files used to download data via other users that have the same data. UTorrent opens the torrent files and connects to other users that have the same file, then uses their Internet connections to help increase the download speed of your file. The files you download in uTorrent may be various different types of archive files that need to be extracted with a separate application.
Instructions

1
To use torrent files with uTorrent, download the file but when the computer asks if you'd like to open the file or save it, choose to open the file with uTorrent.
-
2
Select a directory when uTorrent pops up and asks you where you'd like to save the torrent file data. Begin the download.
-
-
3
Right-click the finished file in uTorrent after the download is finished and select "Go to containing folder." A window will pop up with the torrent data.
-
4
Examine the files and determine if any of them need to be extracted. Files that need to be extracted will have file names such as file.rar, file.iso, file.bin and file.mdf. These types of files can be extracted by various types of archiving applications, which are examined in the next step.
-
5
Extract files that have a .rar or .zip file name extension with a free application, such as WinRAR. To mount or extract files with extensions such as .bin, .iso or .mdf, you may have to use another application such as MagicISO (see the Resources section).
