How Do I Get Outlook to Connect to My Hotmail?
Outlook is a productivity program made by Microsoft. The program lets you manage your email, contacts, calendar and tasks on your personal computer. If you have an Hotmail account, Microsoft has created a neat application that lets you easily connect to your Hotmail inbox without leaving Outlook. To install and get started with the Microsoft Office Outlook Connector, it will take you about five minutes.

Close your Outlook.

Open a browser and go to Microsoft's Hotmail Connector page.

Download and install the Microsoft Office Outlook Connector.

Restart your computer.

Open your Outlook. A dialog box will appear prompting you for information about your Hotmail account.

Type in your Hotmail email address, password and the name you want to appear in the receiver's inbox when you send a message with this email account.

Click the "OK" button.

Close Outlook again and reopen it.

Look on the left side of your Outlook email view. You will see a Hotmail folder. When you send an email, you will have the option to send the message using your Hotmail account with a small drop-down menu below the "Send" button.
