How to Whiten a Toilet Bowl

Melynda Sorrels

Your bathroom may be spotless upon first impression, but if lifting up the lid on the toilet exposes an ugly discoloration or stain, your entire bathroom can seem unclean. If you’re looking to whiten your toilet bowl, but persistent stains are making it difficult, you may just need a few tricks to help you out.

A dirty toilet bowl can make your entire bathroom feel unclean.

Little more than some ingenuity is required to whiten up your toilet bowl once again.

Warning

Be careful not to scrub too hard with the pumice stone as this may scratch the porcelain. Wear gloves and a mask when scrubbing the toilet to protect yourself from germs.
