How to Block a Call on a Motorola T-Mobile Razr 2

To block cell phone numbers on your Motorola T-Mobile Razr 2, use T Mobile's call-blocking feature. Blocking calls is helpful because you don't have to shut off your phone completely to avoid certain callers. You aren't allowed to block a private call, so you do need to know the number you want to block.

Instructions

1. Go through your address book and find the numbers you want to block. Write down the numbers on a piece of paper so you will have them when you're on the phone with the T-Mobile representative.

2. Call T-Mobile at [phone]. You'll be put through an automated menu where you will enter your mobile phone number. Once you enter your number, press 0 to talk to an agent.

3. Tell the agent you have numbers that you would like to block. The agent on the line will pull up the necessary information and ask you for the numbers. There is no fee to block calls. Blocked callers won't be notified that they have been blocked until they try to call you, at which time they'll hear an automated message on the other end of the line.

Tips & Warnings

• If you want to avoid answering certain calls but still want to receive voicemail from those numbers, use your call-forwarding feature to send certain calls straight to your voicemail. Open the "edit" options for the contact you want to block, and select the "Send directly to voicemail" option.

• If you want to unblock the callers later, call T-Mobile and go through the same method you used to block the numbers. In this case, however, you'll tell the representative which numbers you wish to unblock.
