Instructions

1. Choose which cell phone in your collection to use. Charge it up so it's ready to use.

2. Power on the phone and dial *228. This is a free phone call on the cell phone with Verizon Wireless and will go through even on an inactive cell phone.

3. Press the number 3 key on your keypad when prompted to do so. This is will alert the system you wish to switch phones. If you have other features on your phone, they will most likely be removed until manually activated on the new phone. This might include insurance plans and data packages.

4. Follow the prompts as directed and soon enough it will tell you when the phone has successfully been activated. It will end the call and the phone should reset. If it doesn't, reset the phone manually, power it on and test it out.
