How to Pair a Bluetooth to a BlackBerry Pearl
Your BlackBerry Pearl can be paired with a number of Bluetooth devices. You can connect it to a headset for hands-free calling or pair it with your computer or other Bluetooth devices for wireless transfers of media and documents. In this technological world, it is hard to not find someone with a smart phone using some kind of Bluetooth connectivity. BlackBerry makes pairing your Bluetooth device to the phone a painless procedure.

Set your Bluetooth device into pairing mode. For headsets, press and hold the large button on the outside of it until the LED light flashes. For computers, there is a Bluetooth option in the "Control Panel."

Press the BlackBerry button on your phone. This button is located left of the trackball; it opens the main application menu.

Scroll and select the "Set Up Bluetooth" icon with the trackball.

Select "Search for devices from here" and select "OK."

Wait while the phone enables Bluetooth and searches for devices.

Select the device name from the list that appears.

Enter the passkey for the device. For a headset it is "0000." For any other Bluetooth device, check the manual to find out what the passkey is. After the passkey is entered, the devices will be paired.
