How to Text to T-Mobile From a PC

Send texts to any T-Mobile cell phone from your PC.

Many cell phone providers allow their customers to receive text messages sent via email. If you want to send a text message to a T-Mobile user, but don't have a cell phone yourself, you can send the message right from your PC. Keep in mind that these messages are free to you, but charges may apply to the person to which you're sending the messages. If they have email capabilities, they can send a response back to your email inbox.

Instructions

1. Open your email program on your computer and click "Compose" to open a new email message.

2. Type the 10-digit phone number of the T-Mobile cell phone into the "To" field. Add @tmomail.net to the end of the phone number. For example, 123-555-1212 would be entered like this: [e-mail].

3. Compose your text message in the body of the email. Keep your message under 160 characters, as that is the character limit for text messages.

4. Click "Send" to deliver your text message to the T-Mobile cell phone.
