How to Register for FedEx Shipping
If you frequently make personal or business-related shipments, FedEx may be your company of choice. FedEx allows you the option of creating an account on their website. Creating an account enables you to manage your shipments online, maintain an address book, create shipping labels and save a percentage off selected services. Registering with FedEx is easy and requires that you fill out a brief form.

Visit www.fedex.com. Click the "Register for fedex.com" link on the left side of the page.

Select an account type. Choose "Open a FedEx account" if you are a regular shipper who wishes to have complete access to FedEx's shipping tools. Choose "Use my account online" if you already have a FedEx account and wish to access FedEx's online services. Choose "Get a User ID only" if you ship occasionally and wish to purchase shipping labels. Note that if you choose to create a User ID, you will need to input your credit card information each time you purchase shipping labels.

Fill out the registration form with your name, email address, shipping address, phone number and desired log in information. Press "Continue." If you are creating a User ID, the website will take you to a page where you can confirm your registration.

Enter your account information. If you are opening a new FedEx account, you will need to input your credit card information. If you are adding online services to an existing account, you will need to input your FedEx account number. Press "Continue" to confirm your registration.
