Consumer Reports' website at ConsumerReports.org allows easy searches of a wide array of things tested by the team at Consumers Union. But before accessing Consumer Reports, you first must pay a subscription fee, ranging between $5.95 per month and $26 per year.

Instructions

1. Go to ConsumerReports.org and choose "Click Here to Subscribe" if you do not already have a customer account.

2. Register your name, address, email address, credit-card data and other information sought during the signup process. Choose a Consumer Reports log-on and password and indicate which subscription you prefer.

3. Log on by typing your newly assigned ID and password in the sign-in window on the right side of the homepage. Wait a few moments for the sign-in process to finish before browsing through the website.
