Comcast and AOL are popular Internet Service Providers that operate throughout the United States. If you have just switched from Comcast to AOL, you can easily change you home page, the first web page that pops up when you launch a browser. This can save you time and frustration since you do not have to type in the AOL's Web address each time.

Instructions

  1. Internet Explorer

    • 1

      Open your Internet Explorer.

      Go to the AOL Free page that you want as your home page.

      Click "Tools" on the main menu and scroll down and click "Internet Options."

      Hit the "General Tab." Click the "Use Current" button under the "Home page" section.

      Hit the "OK" button at the bottom of the dialog box.

    Safari

    • 6

      Open your Safari browser.

    • 7

      Go to the AOL Free page that you want as your home page.

    • 8

      Click "Safari" on the main menu and scroll down and click "Preferences."

    • 9

      Hit the "General" tab that looks like a light switch.

    • 10

      Click the "Set to Current Page" button and close the dialog box.
