Taking cell phone photos.

Cingular is a cell phone service provider that was purchased by, and merged with, AT&T in 2006, although many still refer to their service as "Cingular." There are many different model phones that can be used with Cingular/AT&T service, several of which are manufactured by LG. If you have an LG phone, you probably take it with you everywhere you go and snap photos along the way. Unfortunately, you don't always get to share you photos on your phone with others, but you can send them by emailing them from your LG phone to an email address.

Instructions

    • 1

Power on your phone and go to the Main Menu screen.

    • 2

Go to your graphics file where you have your photos stored. On some LG phones this is called "My Stuff," "Media" or "Photos."

    • 3

Highlight the photo you wish to send, and select "Options."

    • 4

Select "Send" from the Options menu. On some LG phones, this may say "Send To," or "Send To Email."

    • 5

Enter the email address that you wish to send the photo to. If the field is the same field that you would insert a number into, then press the key that changes your text from numbers to letters. Be sure to type out the full address.

Push "Send" when your message is complete.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you wish to send a message with your photo, you can type a text message first, then at the bottom of the text message select "Options" and then choose "Insert media." Select the photo, hit "OK" and then "Send" to the email by typing the email address in the number field.

  • Sending a photo to your email does not delete it from your phone. You must choose "Delete" under options in order to remove them.

  • You may encounter extra fees for sending photos to an email. Check your AT&T (Cingular) contract to be sure what your plan offers.
