How to Clear Storage in a Samsung BlackJack
Bad software installs, viruses and upgrades can all cause your Samsung Blackjack to need a reset. A soft reset, or clearing your storage, will remove any information from your phone that isn't on a memory card. Wiping the phone clean will return the Blackjack to its factory settings, allowing you to rid the phone of viruses and corrupted software.

Go to the phone's menu. Press the "Menu" button on the Blackjack. Once you're in the main menu, scroll through the options until you see the "Settings" option and press "OK."

Go to clear storage and press "OK" When you are in the settings menu, scroll until you see an option that says "Clear Storage". Depending on your phone, the icon will be white and look like a garbage can with arrows around it. When you have found the "Clear Storage" option press "OK."

Enter your PIN to clear your phone. After you press "OK," your phone will prompt you to enter a security PIN. Enter the four-digit number into the box. If you have not set up a PIN for your phone, consult your phone's manual for the default PIN. Usually the code is 9999 or 0000.

Sync your phone to your computer. Once the phone is cleared, you can sync your phone to your computer. This will replace your contact list, music and photos.

If you do not want to hard reset try this. There should be an icon that says "Storage Card" click on it and you will be at a blank screen, hit "Menu" then scroll down to "My Device" which will bring up a whole list of folders, scroll down to "Windows"and this will bring up another list of folders. This is where the storage problem was, at least for my phone. Go to "Messaging" and "SqmTempFiles", here i had a huge list of stuff, hold down the caps shift button and scroll down to highlight them all, then hit "menu" scroll to "edit" and push right on the arrow key pad then scroll down to "delete" and say hello to free storage.
