How to Wire Wakeboard Tower Speakers
Wakeboard tower speakers are a great way to provide music for water skiers or wakeboarders while they enjoy themselves on the water. These marine speakers are mounted to the wakeboard tower and connected to an amplifier that provides the music source. Mounting the wakeboard speakers to the tower is only part of the job when you're adding wakeboard tower speakers; you need to connect them to the amplifier as well.

1
Cut two lengths of speaker wire (one for each speaker). Make the wires long enough to go from the each speaker to the amplifier that will power the speaker. Take into account how you'll be routing the wiring, considering turns, twists and obstacles.
-
2
Remove 1/2 inch of insulation from each end of each speaker wire, using a set of wire strippers.
-
-
3
Loosen the speaker wire terminals on each of the speakers. Twist the terminals to the left so that the opening in the speaker terminal post is visible.
-
4
Slip the positive lead of your speaker wire into the positive terminal of the wakeboard speaker, then twist the speaker terminal to the right to hold the speaker wire in place. Repeat the same process with the negative speaker wire lead and the negative speaker terminal.
-
5
Route your wires as necessary to get the ends to the amplifier. Use zip ties if necessary to secure the speaker wire to the tubes of the wakeboard tower.
-
6
Loosen the terminals of the amplifier with a screwdriver. Slide the positive lead under the positive terminal and tighten the terminal. Repeat with the negative terminal and the negative speaker wire.
