How Do I Get Photos From Picasa to a Word Document?
Picasa is a free image-editing and organization program provided free of charge by Google. It is aimed at the occasional computer user who needs basic image adjustments applied to their pictures. Picasa can upload files to Picasa Web albums and gives users many other options to export and save files. Users wanting to use their Picasa-edited photos in Microsoft Word can easily do so without hassle.

Open Picasa and navigate to the photo you want to use in Microsoft Word.

Double-click the photo to access the Edit Mode and apply any necessary adjustments to the photo.

While still in Edit mode, click "Edit" followed by "Copy" from the resulting menu. You can also use the keyboard combination "CTRL + C" to copy the photo.

Open Microsoft Word and right-click in the document and select "Paste" from the resulting menu to add the picture you previously copied while in Picasa.

Resize the image to the desired size by clicking it and hovering your mouse cursor over one of the circles that appeared at the corners of the image. When the cursor changes to a double arrow, click and hold your mouse button and adjust the image to the size you want.

Tips & Warnings
When copying the photo, it must be in the Edit Mode or Microsoft Word will not recognize it.
If you have multiple images from Picasa that you want to use in Microsoft Word, you can simplify the process by selecting all the pictures you want to use and by using the "Export" button in Picasa. You can then save the files to a location you will remember. Once you are in Microsoft Word, click "Insert" followed by clicking "Picture." Navigate to your newly saved pictures and click "Open" to add them to your document.
