How Do I Change a Flash Drive Location?
Changing the location of the flash drive is a very easy task. The tools to complete this process are already included with your computer. This process allows you to change the flash drive location from E, for example, to X. The location of a flash drive does not affect performance or any other system process.

If you want to assign your flash drive to a location that is already being used, such as "Local Disk (C:)," which is the location of the main hard drive, you have to change the main hard drive location.
-
6
Click "OK" after you selected the drive location and then click "Yes" when prompted to reaffirm the change.
