How to View HUD Properties
The United States HUD (Housing and Urban Development) department sells homes that it acquires as a result of a foreclosures on Federal Housing Administration (FHA)-backed mortgages. HUD homes are offered first to owner-occupants and then, after a certain amount of time, they are available to investors. To qualify to purchase a HUD home you must either have cash or the ability to qualify for a mortgage loan. You can find HUD homes for sale online and the process to view the homes is quite easy.
