How to Upgrade Quicktime

Apple's QuickTime is a movie and media player that is sometimes required to run programs on a Windows computer. The program is available as a limited free program and also as a professional paid program. Apple offers frequent updates for both versions and upgrades are available as the program continues to evolve. Whether you are looking for an update or an upgrade, the simplest way to determine if one is available is within the program itself.

      Open QuickTime on your computer by clicking "Start" and then "All Programs." Scroll down the list until you see the QuickTime folder and click to open the folder. Choose "QuickTime Player" from the options.
